Elliott is 5!!

Elliott turned 5 last week on Valentine's day. He was so excited as he had seem most of his friends turn 5 and he couldn't wait to be his turn. As his daddy is still on tour I wanted to make sure he had a great party.

I looooove planning a party: getting all the decorations, making the cakes etc. At first Elliott wanted a Ninja Turtle party, then it was a power ranger one, then a spiderman. You see where this is going.  Every week I was given different super heroes...As I am not a huge fan of overly-matchy themed parties I decided to go for a kinda super hero/ninja turtle party. I had seen a couple of posts from Oh Happy (so much party inspiration on that blog!) that I liked and decided to incorporatevarious ideas I had spotted.

Dreaming of grey...

There has been a lot of grey tones floating about the internet lately. I love how soft and dreamy a room can look when using a paler grey. A stronger grey looks beautiful too, especially against some crisp white accessories. Here are some gorgeous rooms to get you inspired.

Today's post is all about doll's houses!! I loved playing with my dolls when I was a wee girl. I was quite a tomboy but still loved barbies and my babies:)
My sweet daughter Zoë was never that fussed about dolls, she had a few babies that she played with from time to time but they were pretty much neglected the rest of the time. Elliott doesn't even want to entertain the ideas of dolls...much to my frustration as I would love a doll's house to decorate!!!  There are just so cute, don't you think?
I have selected the best ones around. These doll's house are soooo cool.and have carefully decorated by their owner so that they are just mini replica of über trendy interiors. I would love my own house to look like this, let alone a doll's house!! So feast your eyes on these babies!!!

Thinking about Wall Lights

I have been looking at black wall light for a while now. We don't really have space on our bedside tables for lamps so I think this would be the perfect solution for us. I love a swing arm but I am open to other options. Here are a few that I like:

I am still obsessing over beautiful bathroom probably just because ours isn't. I stumbled across the bathroom above while reading Share Design's blog and this would just be perfect for our space! . I love the clean lines, the mix of the white and woods but I also really really like the black bath/shower taps. It offers the perfect contrast you need to keep things interesting. Check out these bathroom, all featuring black taps...I am seriously very jealous!

Friday I'm in Love: Bedding

Today is all about pillowcases, duvet covers and fitted sheets etc.  I love my bed, maybe more than your average person I have to say, I would easily spend the day in bed if I could but unfortunately nowadays it's not an option! Ah!
There are so many amazing beddings out there and I thought I would do a rundown of some of my favourites. I tend to buy my basics from H&M, their duvets are still affordable and the quality is good compared to other retailers. But I like to add a quirky piece here and there from smaller designers.
